I read a really interesting article on a different way to study. I've put it on Sakai, under readings. The title of the article is "Chronicle A New Way to Study." I don't know if the technique will work, but it might!

After you do each reading, be able to explain to someone outside the class what was going on in it. What are the main points? Why are the animals behaving as they are?

As I say elsewhere, you will not be able to understand what's going on in class just by looking at the Powerpoints I post. That means attendance is important, although I will not take attendance. Sometimes someone will ask me, "did I miss anything?" after missing class. Here's a little poem answering that question.
